Each socket can hold a 150-Watt standard Type "A" light bulb and has a vinyl-coated metal bulb guard to protect the bulb. The sockets also have a hole at the top that allows for easy hanging of the string above a job and are spaced in 10-Feet intervals to ensure even distribution of light. Just like Prime's extension cords, these light strings have extra heavy-duty wire that maintains flexibility from 40-Fahrenheit up to 140-Fahrenheit and is water, UV, abrasion and flame resistant. The heavy-duty oversized plugs and connectors protect the wire from pulling out of the ends.
